The Education Department will be preparing, in the months ahead, Homeland Security supplements that will become a part of every Public Education course. However, at the moment the definition of Maritime Domain Awareness is still being clarified as are the inland assets that the US Army Corps of Engineers would like us to focus on. So, in the interim, please utilize this PowerPoint^® presentation developed by the Operation Boat Smart project is 2002. It's an excellent first-step in making the general public aware of their responsibility and involvement in defending our nation.
